Açai bowl is my comfort food and no matter how i’m feeling, as soon as it touches my tongue, I will always feel a sense of joy. Açai bowl is made out of açai which is blended with other ingredients to form a creamy and rich base that is purple in color. It is usually topped with a wide array of toppings like granola, nuts, fruits, sauces and more. An açai bowl is very visually appealing with the mixture of vibrant colors. An açai bowl can be enjoyed for breakfast, snack or dessert and is a healthier option as it is naturally low in sugar and hence a healthier sweet treat. Açai is a type of berry which is rich in antioxidants, fiber, amino acids and other nutrients and has many health benefits. Some health benefits include improving heart health, immunity, digestion and more. Açai bowls have been gaining popularity in recent years and one of the reasons is its versatility as one could choose many combinations for their toppings.
Personally, I usually have açai bowls for an after dinner snack and I like it topped with granola, fruits like strawberries and banana and cookie butter drizzle. I highly encourage you to try an acai bowl if you haven’t as it is really delicious and I hope you will like it as much as I do!
