Pretzels

A pretzel is a type of baked bread product made from dough. It is most commonly shaped in a twisted knot. The traditional pretzel shape is a distinctive symmetrical looped form, with the ends of a long strip of dough intertwined and then twisted back into itself in a certain way. The most common soft pretzel seasoning is salt, but some unusual flavours include chocolate mint and sour cream & onion.

I get my pretzels from Auntie Anne’s – you may have heard of it before. I find that the pretzels sold there are not only delicious, but also pretty filling as the serving size is large. They have a wide variety of flavours, some extremely unusual. In fact, all the flavours I have mentioned can be found at Auntie Anne’s.
